Forum: movies Subject: SIGGRAPH password problem...

Hey. I have to say I absolutely love this archive. It's probably the most valuable find on the internet. :)

One problem I've been having tho, when downloading the animation from the SIGGRAPH archive, I get a user/pass authorization box, and after putting in my email/pw (also tried screenname/pw), it won't allow me in.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Thanx.

Suggest the download links be removed, or some information indicating that they are not yet for public consumption be posted on the site somewhere...

(Hi!)

Why can't they be downloaded by the "vulgum pecus" ? Is it because of copyright problems ?
Too bad, anyway.
Isn't there a (legitimate) way to get the password ?

I too would recommend a clear warning note on each download page.

thanks,
VZ.
